The meeting was called to order by President, Emma Hiscocks, MD. Everyone was welcomed and introductions were made. There were 21 members and guests in attendance. All names are on record. The August 25, 2024, LAAFP Annual Meeting Minutes were presented by Dr. Hiscocks for approval. She made the motion to accept the minutes as printed in the agenda. It was moved and seconded. There was no discussion and the report was unanimously approved.

Dr. Hiscocks presented the January 1 – October 31, 2024 Treasurer’s Report. She offered the motion to accept the report as printed in the agenda. The motion was moved and seconded. There was a brief discussion in the form of a clarification and the financial report was unanimously accepted.
The Election Results were presented in the agenda and can be reviewed on the website LAAFP.org.
Dr. Hiscocks announced the 2025 authorized signers on the Banc of CA checking account and the VANGUARD investment funds: Jerry Abraham, MD; President; C. Peony Khoo, MD, Secretary-Treasurer; and incoming Executive Director, Joe Kuns (primary signer). Signers from 2024 to be removed are Emma Hiscocks, MD; Cynthia Chen-Joea, MD; Roxanne Kuns, Outgoing Executive Director.
